Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Movaro AI ("Movaro," "we," "us") collects when you use our job-search automation service, how that data is stored, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly, and information generated by using the product:

• Account information: your email address, used to create and authenticate your session.
• Profile information: name, phone, location, work history, education, work authorization status, and job preferences you enter into your Movaro profile.
• Résumé files: any résumé (PDF) you upload.
• Application data: the jobs you queue for automated application, and the resulting status, timestamps, and screenshots of each application attempt.
• Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Razorpay — see "Payment Processing" below.

Resume Storage

Uploaded résumés are stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Files are never publicly accessible — every download or preview uses a short-lived, cryptographically signed URL generated on demand for your authenticated session only. Deleting a résumé from your dashboard permanently removes both the stored file and its database record.

Profile Storage

Your profile fields (contact details, work history, preferences) are stored in our Supabase Postgres database, associated with your account and protected by row-level security so that only your own authenticated session can read or modify your profile data.

Supabase

Movaro AI uses Supabase as its database and file storage provider. Supabase hosts our Postgres database and storage buckets; we do not operate our own physical servers for this data. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not independently use your data for its own purposes.

Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is HTTP-only (not readable by page scripts), cryptographically signed, and expires after 30 days of inactivity. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Authentication

Movaro AI currently uses email-based, passwordless sign-in: entering your email creates or resumes your account session, backed by a signed session cookie. We do not store passwords. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization, contact us immediately.

Payment Processing (Razorpay)

Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. Movaro AI does not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details directly — that information is handled entirely within Razorpay's secure checkout. We receive and store only subscription status, plan identifiers, and billing period dates needed to manage your account's plan.

Automation

When you queue a job for automated application, Movaro's automation worker uses your stored profile and résumé to fill out and submit the application on the relevant company's applicant tracking system (e.g. Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) on your behalf. We capture screenshots of this process for your own records and to help diagnose failed attempts. This automation only runs for jobs you explicitly queue, and only while your account has automation enabled.

Data Deletion

You can delete your résumé(s) at any time from the Resume page. To request deletion of your full account and all associated data (profile, application history, résumés), contact us at our contact page. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe and confirm once complete.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
